CRUDE palm oil (CPO) futures prices on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives extended their losses today following signs of increasing stocks.
“Commodities are topping out as global demand is slowing down. However, we expect overseas demand to start picking up ahead of the fasting month which will begin in September”, one of the dealers said.
The October delivery contract decreased RM32 to close the day at RM2,969/MT. On the physical market, August South closed lower at RM3,000/MT compared to RM3,100/MT recorded yesterday.
