THE CPO futures ended sharply lower on broad-based global commodity selling linked to the growing
A combination of speculative-motivated selling and investors’ flight to liquidity were the featured attractions for the day. This heavy selling enthusiasm has dragged the benchmark June delivery contract sharply lower towards the daily trading limit in the first session. Moreover, heavy losses in the Crude oil futures also aided the bearish tone. Short-term bearish momentum is escalating, and potential optimistic rebound from here will likely be capped at RM3,444/MT, RM3,527/MT and RM3,610/MT.
